Shigemitsubaki puts us all to shame once again by not only making an amazing wall with a great color scheme but also records the whole thing on youtube to let you see how it was done!
Well, all I did was vector the sweat drops using the pen tool. The I filled behind them with the color of the skin. Just search google or something to learn how to use the pen tool. At first it's a bit confusing, but once you learn how to use it, it's really helpfull. I used no brushes on it, just the pen tool. You outline the part you want to color in and then select "Fill path..." and put the color you want to use. Really simple once you learn how to use it. I hope that helps.
Also, How did you clean the scan without changing the grainy outlines? Did you just use the blur tool and zoom in a lot? I really like how that effect looks, so I was wondering how you did it.
Anyway, good luck with that wall, and I hope you can get the pen tool down. Like I said in the thread, it's fine if you use the one I made of the sweat drops.

PS: Sorry that it took me so long to respond. I didn't look at my site for a couple days. And welcome to Animepaper! ^^
